Leadership

Leadership that delivers

Optimity Global is led by an engineer and business strategist who has built national networks, managed multi-million-dollar programmes and developed the teams that run them.

Chairman & CEO

A builder of networks, institutions and people

Every asset we deliver should outperform its specification, and every team we work with should leave stronger than we found it.

Engr. Musaddaq Mahmood is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Optimity Global. He is a visionary strategist and transformation architect whose career has been defined by turning ambitious, multi-million-dollar opportunities into delivered, measurable results.

Over more than 23 years he has led at the intersection of engineering, operations and commerce. As a senior leader at Wateen Telecom, one of Pakistan's Tier 1 network operators, he headed network services, strategic projects, field operations and network infrastructure. Under his direction, teams rolled out more than 41,000 km of optical fiber and maintained over 37,000 km of live network for the country's leading operators, while sustaining over 240 civil sites and leading the construction of seven ADM and data center facilities. He was among the pioneers of in-house managed services for optical transmission run entirely by a telecom operator in Pakistan.

His foundation was laid at Huawei and ZTE, where he studied the design of Pakistan's first DWDM backbone, managed optical access projects for national carriers, and coordinated international deployments from ZTE's headquarters in Shenzhen. An electrical engineer from UET Lahore with an MBA in Finance, he pairs deep technical judgement with sharp commercial and financial discipline.

Today he leads Optimity Global's growth across oil and gas, ICT, energy and power, institutional supplies, specialized tooling, aviation, consulting services and professional training. He cultivates high-level partnerships with government departments, multilateral and development organizations and private sector leaders, represents the company in negotiations and policy forums, and builds a performance culture rooted in accountability, innovation and integrity.
